The Vestry is made up of 15 lay members of St. Mark's, elected by the congregation to oversee the programs and finances of the parish.  This group sets policy, makes long-range plans, and supports the activities of the parish.

Each January, five members are elected to a 3-year term. The Rector presides at meetings of the Vestry.  Leadership is also provided by the senior warden and junior warden.

Search for a new Bishop

Bishop Larry Maze has indicated that he intends to retire by the end of 2006. Committees to oversee the search and selection of a new Bishop have been established.  The preliminary schedule calls for the process to take about a year, with the Consecration of a new Bishop being in early 2007.
