Discretionary
Funds are
used by the Clergy to meet unanticipated and special needs, ranging
from helping the poor to helping St. Mark's communicants in special
situations.
The
source of these funds is the cash offering given on the first
Sunday of each month, plus any gifts specifically designated for
this purpose. Discretionary fund accounts are audited yearly
and are not used for on-going parish expenses.
Anyone
interested in either donating to this fund or learning more about
how these funds are distributed may email the Rector
or speak to him by calling the church office at 225-4203.
